"To Me, MC Means Move the Crowd"

Disney's Human Element - "To Me, MC Means Move the Crowd" (by Scott Smith (SRisonS))

What better way to interact at Disney than to be THE center of attention.... and THE one to help bring the "Disney" experience to others.

"The Lions" ..... as you can tell by someone in the crowd. ;)

Disney Tattoo Guy... George Reiger

Disney Tattoo Guy....George Reiger

When I initially set out to start this photo blog, I wanted all my shots to be "fresh". I didn't want to go to the archives for anything. I have some older "Human Element" type of shots; but I know they're scenes I can capture again in some form..... except this one.

Talk about LOVE of Disney!!!!! His body is literally covered with Disney tattoos (he even had a Mickey shaved into the back of his head, this day). And the Cast Members in the backgroud!?!?!?! Totally a nice surprise when I looked at this picture later on. It's great to see Disney employees enjoying "the view". ;)

P.S. Although he looks intimidating here, I heard he's actually a very nice guy.

Big In Japan

Disney's Human Element - Big In Japan (by Scott Smith (SRisonS))

Everyday, guests from all over the world visit Disney, and display their own sense of style. Whether it's celebratory, or just normal attire, the approach to dressing is completely varied.

When it comes to really doing-it-up, the Japanese have such an impeccable sense of style. It's not everyday that you see a group successfully pull this off.

Charm The Pants Off The Crowd

Disney's Human Element - Charm The Pants Off The Crowd (by Scott Smith (SRisonS))

One of the great things that Disney does, is to make the ordinary experience extraordinary!!!

In Japan's Pick-A-Pearl area, there is already a bit of excitement in what kind of jewel you'll discover (of course you'll get a pearl... but there's also size and color to consider). But to really make you feel like you've come across the "Crème de la Crème", the Cast Member plays a little ditty to celebrate your accomplishment.

Art With Character

Disney's Human Element - Art With Character (by Scott Smith (SRisonS))

Watching caricature artists, and other artisans at Disney; it's amazing how "in the zone" these people are. Not only do they have to focus on doing such fabulous work; but there are constant crowds about, kids crying, grumpy dads crying, and crazy photographers taking endless pictures.

Getting In Touch With Nature

Disney's Human Element - Getting In Touch With Nature (by Scott Smith (SRisonS))

One of the great attractions during Epcot's Flower & Garden Festival is the butterfly tent; where guests can witness the evolution of butterflies.

This girl had a butterfly on her sweatshirt for quite some time, before this young lad decided to help her out. :)

We're All PhotoPass Photographers

When visiting Disney, one of the small rewarding experiences you can have is to take family pictures for people. I'm sure some people feel like they might be inconveniencing other guests, but most people will gladly help out. We've all been in a situation where we want the entire group in a shot, but someone always gets left out. Or we have desperate situations where we'll just sit our camera on a wall, set the timer, and hope for the best (God forbid the wind is strong, and it knocks your camera on the ground.... UGH!!!).

I was recently at Epcot, and saw a family resting the camera on the wall and setting the timer. I was the only other person even near them, so I couldn't NOT help out. And to make it even better, they were just completely grateful!!!

For The Love Of Sports

Disney's Human Element - For The Love Of Sports (by Scott Smith (SRisonS))

Every year, sports fans worldwide embark on the excursion of a lifetime. Destination: Disney's Hollywood Studios. This is when the Worldwide Leader makes a visit to the Resort; and the two sides do what they do best. Guests can't help but to walk away with an experience that is unmatched.

.... Alright, that might be a little overzealous; but it sounds good. ;)
