Displaying The Wonderment

Disney's Human Element - Displaying The Wonderment

I'm not sure how most guest view Flights of Wonder.  But I find it to be a highly enjoyable show.  Of all the years I've been visiting Animal Kingdom; I never had any initial interest in attending this attraction.  But late last year, I decided to give it a shot.  Not only is it education; but it's quite humorous as well!!!!  And with the chance to go on stage and get some cool shots; it was also the only time I've ever raised my hand to be a participant from the audience.  ;)

Chakranadi

Disney's Human Element - Chakranadi

Those eyes, man... Look At Those Eyes!!!!

My daughter, who cannot NOT dance when passing live music, found a cute little dance partner here.

On select days, stop and admire this duo if you get the chance.

Where The Wild Things Are

Disney's Human Element - Where The Wild Things Are

I wonder if we appear as "atttractions" to some of the animals?!?!?  I guess as far as they know; they are in an "expansive" area, and we are in small spaces just peering through the glass.

The Divine Miss DiVine

Disney's Human Element - The Divine Miss DiVine

Walking along the pathway that connects Africa and Asia, one often stops to take in the beautiful scenery of this area.  While gazing upon a unique looking tree, there may be a WTF? ("what the fiffer-foofin?"... gotta Disney it up) kind of moment.  But no need to worry, it is only DiVine!!!!!

The Lady of the Forest can be seen various times throughout the day.  Sometimes, she'll pose with families for pictures.  But as many can attest to, she mainly just does slow poses, and you PRAY you'll get a good shot.  ;)

Don't Try This At Home

Disney's Human Element - Don't Try This At Home

This beautiful display of fire dancing can be seen during the Festival of the Lion King show. But to me, the most emotionally moving fire dancing scene on Disney property is at the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show (a.k.a Polynesian Luau). I don't know what it was about it, but I could've sat there for HOURS just taking it in.

I was actually at the Luau about a week before taking this. So I was able to easily compare the two. Sorry for the cheese fest. ;)

Weary Travelers

Disney's Human Element - Weary Travelers

With Everest looming in the distance, travelers rest-up for the long journey ahead of them; while adventurers from the previous expedition return to base camp in utter disappointment. The quest for the Yeti forever continues.

Meanness

Disney's Human Element - Meanness

To always play to its nice side, Disney allows all guests to equally be involved in the meanness.

"To Me, MC Means Move the Crowd"

Disney's Human Element - "To Me, MC Means Move the Crowd" (by Scott Smith (SRisonS))

What better way to interact at Disney than to be THE center of attention.... and THE one to help bring the "Disney" experience to others.

"The Lions" ..... as you can tell by someone in the crowd. ;)
