Disney's Human Element - Brazilian Tour Groups.... "Here We Come...."

We get the funniest looks from
Everyone we meet..."

Unfortunately, I think that Monkees Theme Song speaks to what a lot of people think about the Brazilian tour groups. Some people think "Oh, well, that type of behavior is probably tolerated in their country. But it's totally not appropriate here in America." But recently, I've seen a couple of posts on forums, from a couple of Brazilians; one of which has been a part of a Disney Tour Group. Well... any rude or line cutting behavior you may see, is definitely not acceptable in Brasil. And since these are teenagers, with chaperones they might not know all that well; they may tend to act-up once in a while. So in the end, it's just kids being kids. And not all of them display bad behavior. But since there seem to be many groups at Disney during the same timeframe, a lot of visitors probably just get overwhelmed with all of them. And it's just too bad that they all get grouped together in the realm of public opinion.

Holdin' Down The Fort

"Well I'll be!!! These yayhoos done nabbed them a train. And now they fixin' to ram that sucka into this here Fort. Well I reckon they's about to be on the wrong side of Betsey Lou."

Definitely the least amount of "human" in a Human Element shot. But there was some kid holding the gun.

It has been such a great year, photography-wise and life-wise. Personally, I feel like I've had some active progression when it comes to shooting and post-processing. It's been great getting to know (and eventually meet) some of the amazing people here on Flickr. And as far as my home life, well..... most of you know the main part of that story. ;)

Disney's Human Element - "Oh Santa!"

Since 1983, early December has brought the filming of the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade. Shot in Walt Disney World, as well as Disneyland; this event showcases some of the top musical acts around today. Seen on ABC, viewers have been treated to performances by Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, The Jonas Brothers, Diana Krall, Stevie Wonder, and Menudo (just trying to show a little diversity there); as well as countless other musicians.

And as a bonus treat for attendees like myself; you get to stand around for hours listening to the same beautiful Christmas song over and over.... all while trying to not get crushed by the Jonas lovin' teens. ;)

Taking A Ride On The Roy O.

Taking a ride on the Walt Disney Railroad is one of the most peaceful experiences at the park. And not only is it a mode of transportation to give from one area to another; but you'll also get the chance to see views of the Magic Kingdom that would otherwise be totally hidden.
